Communicating and Presenting a Creative Practice

I wanted to share with you my creative process for visualizing my fake rave flyers and film project. As I was brainstorming and sketching out my ideas, I envisioned the final product being presented in a very specific way.

In my mind, I saw a vintage Sony TV sitting on a stand in a dimly lit room. Above the TV, I placed five of my flyers in a line, and below it, I placed five more. The TV acted as the centerpiece, drawing the viewer's attention and serving as a focal point for the entire installation.

By placing the flyers on either side of the TV, I was able to create a sense of balance and symmetry in the overall composition. This allowed each individual flyer to stand out and be appreciated on its own, while still contributing to the larger project as a whole.

I chose a vintage Sony TV specifically for this project because I wanted to evoke a sense of nostalgia and retro aesthetics. By using this older technology, I wanted to give the impression that my project was an homage to the past, while still being modern and relevant.

Overall, I believe that the way we present our creative work is just as important as the work itself. By carefully considering how my project will be displayed and experienced by the viewer, I hope to create a more immersive and engaging experience that resonates with my audience.
